Hello! We’re Kin (31) and Chloe (30), a couple from Hong Kong, currently on an exciting new chapter of our lives in Germany.

We both love dancing, exploring nature (hiking, camping, skiing, and snowboarding), and handcrafting. Before coming to Germany, we worked for about 7 years in Hong Kong — Kin as an electronic engineer and Chloe as an ERP consultant. We truly enjoyed our work, especially helping clients solve problems and seeing ideas turn into real solutions.

Now, in our early 30s, we feel it’s the perfect time to step out of our comfort zone, slow down a little, and explore different ways of living and working. With this in mind, we quit our jobs and arrived in Germany in May on a Working Holiday Visa. Since then, we’ve been based in Düsseldorf, where we completed an intensive B2 German course at a language school.

This winter, we’d love to experience life in Germany more deeply — learning through hands-on work, cultural exchange, and meeting people from different backgrounds. Salary is not our main focus; instead, we’re excited to gain new experiences, make new friends, learn new skills, and contribute wherever we can. We’re open to many kinds of tasks and always happy to share our own skills, energy, and positive attitude.

Was noch ...

My favourite hobby is dancing. I started learning Chinese dance since I was 8 years old, and got to know other dance styles more when I joined the Dance Society in the University. Besides dancing, I also like camping and hiking, enjoy our beautiful nature. Recent years I also learn a bit snowboarding when I travel in Japan and start to develop some interests in this winter sport. I also want to learn skiing as well!
