I am currently looking for places in Europe but am open to different areas and experiences. I love working with animals, being in the mountains, and any activity outside.
Beschreibung
I am a outgoing, extroverted girl. from the Netherlands who is very excited to be able to see more of the world. When deciding what to do for my gap year I was very open to ideas, but what was for certain was that I wanted to travel to new places and trying new things. I love being in the outdoors and try to stay outside any chance I get whether its playing with the kids or just reading a book on the porch. And because I have a lot of experience with traveling because I moved around a lot I am able to withstand a variety of temperatures, from skiing in the alps to working in a school in Africa. I am also most excited about meeting new people and learning about new cultures as well as sharing my own.

Dutch is my first language but while moving so often I learned English while still young. Then when we moved to Indonesia for 5 years I became fluent, but after I moved away I spoke it less so I am still a little familiar with it but if I go back to it I would be able to understand more of it. I would feel comfortable with teaching Dutch and/or English as those two are the ones that I am most familiar with at this time. But I would love to learn more about other languages as well.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I am very outgoing so I can easily make myself feel at home and make new friends whether its with kids or adults that I need to work with. I also used to work at a coffee shop so I have experience with being able to handle customers and I also learned to manage time and tasks.
For the past few summers I have nannied for multiple families to which I have gain experience with kids and create a good bond with them, including introducing them to new things as well as them teaching me new games which has made me very comfortable with being an active listener and a problem solver.
When I was younger and we moved around a lot, with every new house we moved to my dad and I built treehouses, so I am good with tools and safety. As well as coming from a skiing family I am comfortable on the ski slopes and enjoy skiing alone and with others.

I love reading books and learning new things. When having free time I enjoy learning all the countries of the world and their flags just as to be informed and interested in things around me. I love to hang out with friends and do active things but at the same time I could also enjoy a day to myself sketching in a notebook on the porch. My family is very big on card games and I love teaching other people new dutch card games that I know.
