Looking for hosts in Peru, Brasil and South America - ideally I'd like to teach Yoga and/or Qigong in exchange for food/accomodation :)

Beschreibung

Hey, I'm Niko :)

I'm a mostly nomadic yoga and qigong teacher, musician and hippie at heart (because what's wrong with peace and love?). I also love to facilitate cacao ceremonies, Kirtan/singing circles, meditations, men's circles, ecstatic dances and other yummy stuff. Anything that helps myself and others get out of our heads and open our hearts a little bit more makes me happy and this world a better place, if you ask me. Life in community and close to nature is where it's at for me, and I'm trying to bring more of that into my life.

I try to travel slowly and as environmentally friendly as possible.

I am always open to new learning experiences and challenges. After finishing my masters in international relations I decided against a full time career and a well paying job, but in favour of a more adventurous and free lifestyle that allows me to explore the world and myself. I am interested in personal development, music, permaculture, philosophy, sports, meditation, salsa dancing, sustainability and many other things...

I also teach German online on the side for a few hours a week.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have experience in:
Teaching yoga (certified) and qi gong (teacher-in-training), meditations, facilitating all kinds of holistic events/workshops (references can be provided).
Farm work: Operating of forklift, loader, tractor, truck, air compressors, water pumps etc. Fencing, reddish/weed picking and some cattle work.
Hospitality: Bartender & barista experience over 1 year, hotel experience (events and service) over 1 year.
Web design & web development.
Oh and my actual profession, international relations: international cooperation, sustainable development, peacebuilding, writing.
Translation and interpreting: I speak German, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
