Hello wandering spirits,

I am a lover and a dreamer who craves knowledge, adventure, and genuine connections!

One day when I was a child living in rural Maine, USA, my mom randomly told my siblings and I that we would be moving all the way across the country to (a different country) Tijuana, Mexico. I remember being in disbelief! I had never left the east coast. What was a shock at first, turned into some of the best years of my life. Its a longer story, but we lived there happily for several years, learning about the vibrant culture, food, and customs. Most importantly, making meaningful friendships and connections with our neighbors. I think I was born a free spirit, but this is where my love for adventure really started to blossom.

Years later, I still crave the unknown. I have since lived all around the US, and am slowly adding stamps to my passport. I also consistently travel all over Mexico. I love to explore a place that is so close to my heart.

I love meeting new people, trying new things and having new experiences. I am fascinated by the world, and there is so much of it to see! I am constantly looking to grow and expand as a person. I believe making ones world bigger brings us all closer together.

I am an artist and creator. Bringing things into existence thrills me. I love to work with my hands, whether its crafting jewelry and clothes, baking, painting, knitting, growing plants, etc. I absolutely love nature. It gives me life. I try to be surrounded by it as much as possible, and enjoy finding ways of feeling more connected to the earth. I love to hike and walk! I am delighted to try the fruits of a new region, and learn of new types of plants, trees and flowers. I have a great love for animals, and am also very happy surrounded by them.

Among many reasons, I want to spend time in Peru specifically because my father is Peruvian. He was born in Chaclacayo, but I also have family in many parts of Peru, including Huacho and Chincha. My dad migrated to the US in his 20s, but he is a proud Peruvian and taught me to be proud as well. I long to find deeper connections to my Peruvian roots, and I am excited to meet and learn from others.

I have over 12 years experience working in the hospitality industry, and 10 years of experience waitressing, hosting, and bartending. I am excellent at making all sorts of fun drinks and craft cocktails. I also have experience training people in a number of different hospitality positions.

I have tons of customer service experience and excellent communication skills. I have the ability to work well in loud, busy, chaotic environments. I have worked large wedding parties and lots of special events. I have 8 years of experience doing high-volume bartending in large music venues, including one with 6,000 person capacity.

I am super passionate about food, and I love to cook and learn new recipes! I have been doing so my whole life. I am also a very passionate baker, and I have also worked professionally in commercial kitchens, in various positions.

I have experience making all sorts of crafts, sewing, knitting, and making clothes. As well as jewelry making, doing macrame, painting, drawing. I love anything to do with art, and working with my hands. I have knowledge of basic carpentry and am familiar with using power tools.
I have a basic knowledge of gardening and love to work outside.

I love animals, and grew up around all kinds, including horses. I have also worked as a Stable Hand at a horse stable. I feel comfortable dog and cat sitting, feeding farm animals, and doing ground work with horses.

I have some experience in retail and custodial work, and I was a Curator at a private art gallery for a time.

I have my motorcycles license and love to ride. I am also familiar riding ATVs.

I have some experience teaching English to Spanish-speakers and vice versa.
