Beschreibung

I'm a recent university graduate from the United States with a degree in community development. I completed my first experience with workaway in the summer of 2019 when I worked with a youth development non-profit and at a restaurant in rural Guatemala. After having such an amazing experience, I'm excited to dive back into the workaway world! I'm planning on traveling and completing workaways for the foreseeable future. I'm especially interested in working with kids, learning about sustainable and organic agriculture, working in customer service, and language exchange. I'm very easy going, adaptable, and very interested in learning about other cultures!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have previously worked at a summer camp for special needs children as a program facilitator, so I have experience with a variety of different types of children with a variety of different needs! Additionally, I have certifications in lifeguarding and Wilderness First Aid. This summer, before I begin my travels, I am working as a wilderness backpacking guide for teenagers in the United States.

I also have some experience with marketing/social media for nonprofit organizations.

Additionally, I have four years of experience in customer service. I have worked as a receptionist, server, and bartender, and love the opportunities customer service and hospitality provides in the way of getting to meet new people! I'm especially looking forward to working in hostels, as I've loved my experiences staying at hostels and I'm excited to give the same experience to other guests.
