Hey there!
After completing my studies in Criminology in Belgium, I decided to sign up on the platform of workaway to be able to contribute in the world. Even though I have already had some experiences abroad for my studies (4m Barcelona and 9m in the Netherlands), I was ready to go on a new
(Spanish) adventure in Central-America. This being completed, as well as four succesful workaways, I found myself a new adventure: going to Guadeloupe to learn about the local culture, live on an island and improve my French.
If I had to describe myself in a few words, I’d say I’m curious, flexible, ambitious, and outgoing. I chose these words because I enjoy learning new things, I am an easy going person who can adapt easily. Furthermore I want to succeed in the things I learn and really make a difference by helping communities or the place where I am. I’m also very social and enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life; sharing stories, ideas, and traditions.
Considering I have been working as a student since I was 17 years old, I know how to work and get my hands dirty. Moreover I've been in the scouts (youth movement for almost 18 years) where we used to sleep in tents, cook our own food on fire and wash ourselves in a river. Something else that shows my independency is that I lived mostly on my own since the age of 18 years (except for the week-ends). So doing my own cooking, laundry, and managing daily life is second nature to me.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

By degree, I am a criminologist, this shows my ability to learn, curiousness and open-mindedness. Other than that, I work as a certified personal trainer, which means I coach a variety of people and I also lead group workout classes several times a week. It has taught me how to motivate others, create a positive group dynamic, and adapt to different needs and personalities. It also means I'm energetic, organized, and comfortable taking initiative. Regarding other skills: I am eager to learn! I am a hardworking, helpful, healthy, smart, athletic and curious person. For example I used to live independently on my own for five years. That's where I studied for my degree, learned how to cook, clean... Other than that my parents tought me some basic skills in the garden and around the house.

Was noch ...

Meeting new people, new cultures, new languages gives me so much energy. That is also why I love to travel solo because I can emerge myself more. I also reaaaally love the sea, islands and beachlife. It's always a dream of mine to live at the beach, do yoga and go swimming in the morning, bring good vibes to the people around me.
