My name is Milly and I am 23 years old. I am currently planning a trip to Brazil this summer and I look forward to meeting new people and speaking some Portuguese!

I have lived in the rural countryside of England my whole life so I am used to quiet and slow living, but am open to exploring city life as well. I am very outdoorsy and have been around animals and farm yards all my life. I am also quite sporty and I love activities like surfing, cycling, and watersports.
I am generally quite extroverted and I love meeting new people from all over the world and learning about their experiences.
Two of my passions are cooking and baking, particularly fresh bread and cakes. I am vegetarian (no meat or fish but I do eat eggs and milk) but I love to experiment in the kitchen and trying new foods from around the world. I am always open to helping with cooking!

I am a seasoned 'work-awayer' and have enjoyed stays which involved cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping. I work well in a team or on my own and I speak English, French, Italian, and a little Portuguese .

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Since October I have been working as a language assistant in a school in southern Italy. The students I teach are between the ages of 13-18 (which some say is the hardest age group!). I aid them with grammar and pronunciation of English as well as some written exercises.
Since I am a student at a very academically demanding university, I have great time management skills and I am very curious to learn new things.
I am the middle child between two siblings, which has given me great people managing skills, since my siblings like to bicker a lot!
I have always been very sporty, and as a teenager I competed in the UK national open water championships. I can also surf (moderately well) and sail (not well at all but I know the basics to get going!)
I have been a passionate cook my whole life, since my mother taught me very young. Since I now live alone I have had a lot of practice cooking myself one or two delicious healthy meals every day.
I particularly like to bake sweet treats for my family and friends (I make an amazing banana bread). Of course cooking also includes cleaning up the kitchen afterwards, which I've learned to enjoy with a good podcast.
