Beschreibung

We're Victor and Melody, a couple of French oenologists and winemakers. We met in 2020 during the COVID lockdown. We lived together for 2 years in Bordeaux, in the south-west of France, before deciding to leave everything behind and go travelling with no return date. After 8 months traveling and working in South America, from Chile to Colombia, we arrived in Canada with a working holiday visa in August 2023. We started with winemaking in the Okanagan Valley (Burrowing Owl Winery) before spending 2 winters in Fernie, working and enjoying the mountains and the snow.
We bought a F350 and a Bigfoot camper in which we spent a couple warm, fun and cosy winter. We sold the Bigfoot camper in April 2025 and we would love to spend a couple of months in Québec, before our Canadian holiday visa ends. We will then fly back to France for 6 months, before starting a new adventure in Australia with an other 2 years working holiday visa.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We love to cook and share French dishes. Melody often bakes sourdough bread and pizzas. We love to garden and take care of animals.
We are creative, like to read, to paint and draw and also to play board games and video games.
We enjoy working outside, building, cleaning, organizing.

Our dream goal, after travelling for years, will be to find a small farm, probably in France (but who knows?), renovate it, and create a beautiful and sustainable place to live, grow and create, make wine, and art, live in simplicity and harmony.

Was noch ...

Our dream is to buy an old farm in France, try to reach a kind of self sufficiency without being totally off grid, produce our own wine and/or cheese or any fermented product and develop a very small restaurant or a food truck or something like that...
We hope that traveling the world together for a couple of years will give us new ideas, help us grow and bring us wisdom and knowledge.
We try to improve every day, to become better people, to know ourselves better and to seek happiness and balance, even if the road is still long. Above all, we're looking for those people with whom we can grow, discuss and exchange.
