I am currently enjoying some months off to orientate myself, spend time doing things I like and seeing people important to me.

Beschreibung

Raised in Germany by a French mother and a German father, I have always liked to get to know different places and culture. I spent one year in Nicaragua a few years ago and have been back to Latinamerica twice. Now I live in Luxemburg and love to be able to experience different cultures and speak different languages here. Also, the rivers and forests around here are beautiful. I generally love being outdoors, hiking, riding my bicycle, rock climbing or swimming. I really need to move to be happy, but I also enjoy calm moments reading, doing yoga or having a deep conversation.

I love to be in service of something larger that has a meaning behind. I think that I have found this meaningfulness in my job, but I sometimes struggle with living according to my values in private life. As I get older, I’m looking for a closer connection with nature and a way of life that aligns with my values. I’m interested in permaculture and sustainable living in general. I hope that through a Workaway experience I can gain ideas about how I want to live and exchange thoughts with people who are also thinking about these things or have done so in the past. Also I look forward to being outdoors and doing physical work, as I enjoy it and I love to learn new skills, especially in gardening and building (DIY).

Travelling has shown me that you don't need to go far to experience new treasures and ideas. That's why I am looking for a Workaway in France. I have never done a Workaway before, but have heard good things about it from others.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a little bit of experience gardening - I have some tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchcini etc. in our garden. Additionally, we did some work in our apartment, so basics in painting etc. are there. I love cooking and baking and would be pleased to cook for various persons. Also, I am a quick learner and motivated to pick up quickly on whatever tasks.
