Beschreibung

Hi i'm Merle, 19 years old and i'm from a small town in the north of germany. I've always been totally fascinated by getting to know other cultures and languages. That's why it's now my big dream to travel to the big wide world and offer my help where it's needed.
I just came back from my Work and travel in spain and portugal and not only gained a lot of experiences but also so much love and energy from beautiful living beings.
Here a little about me 🌞:
I grew up in the north of Germany with my mother and have had a deep connection to nature since I was a small child. Gardening, handicraft work in the great outdoors, hiking on weekends and swimming in the Baltic Sea are just some of our daily activities. I am therefore not only in love with nature, but see myself as a part of it, which is why sustainability is very close to my heart. For this reason, as a small family, we also earn our living with the production of regional and seasonal jams, chutneys, liqueurs and mustards.
My mother is an artist herself and my dad a musician, which is why I learned to paint with acrylic, oil, pastel, chalk, charcoal and watercolor as a small child, to turn soapstones into sculptures, to make figures out of clay and generally to be creatively active. When I was 11 years old I started to play theater in a group and then I was on stage for the first time. When I was 15 I joined a dance group for contemporary and modern dance and have always been completely in love with dancing. Since then I have been on stage more than 30 times and even won the dance competition together with my group at the Berlin Festival with our dance piece "Survival" in 2022. Therefore, just like nature, art is not only a lifelong part of me, but also my favorite expression of my feelings and a kind of home where I fully can be myself.
I am also a very mindful, spiritual and generally fun-loving person. My father is Peruvian, so I am very interested in the lifestyle of indigenous peoples. Nevertheless I am also very interested in the cultures of others and am always enthusiastic about cultural and linguistic exchange.
Besides dancing, meditation and yoga have integrated into my daily life and I like to teach this as well. I am also vegetarian and eat a very mindful and healthy diet.
I am generally a very active person. I love team sports like volleyball and am always learning new sports. I love not only to hike, but moreover to climb mountains.
I am also very helpful and like to help where working hands are needed. I love to work with my hands and especially outside. On the other hand, I am also very skilled in housekeeping, cooking and taking care of children. Besides I am very fond of animals. Especially with dogs, cats, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits and horses I have experience and always look forward to animal company.

I love to learn other languages but nevertheless i would really love to learn spanish. As my father is peruvian and mostly speaks spanish, I would really love to talk with him. In addition i really like the sound and beauty of spanish and am willing to learn it. Nevertheless I am also able to teach german and english.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up in the small town of Stralsund, which is also called the gateway to the nature-rich island of Rügen, which is why I am not only very connected to nature, but it is also very close to my heart to protect nature. I therefore also have some gardening experience and love to work in nature.
Well in general, I love to lend a hand. Especially when it comes to manual labor. I'm pretty good at it even on hot days, building garden furniture or helping to set up the new table. I`m always there for it! :)
But most of all I like the creative work. I'm very good at helping with DIY projects, updating and sprucing up homes and cottages, and I have a good eye for atmospheric aesthetics.
Besides, I have also helped my mother cook from an early age, which means that I am equally skilled in the kitchen.
Even as a small child I had smaller pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits and cats, so working with animals is very close to my heart. Well I have only had a few experiences with bigger animals, but I am especially good with horses, goats and cows.
Although I am an only child and have no brothers or sisters, I like children very much. I love to play with them, but I enjoy it even more when I have the opportunity to teach them languages like German or English.
However, my biggest passion is moving. I love dance and sports and that makes me a very active and motivated person.
Besides I am experienced in dance and choreographic work and can especially pass on my knowledge in yoga and meditation.
Also, I am definitely willing to share my skills, teach them and learn new ones.

Was noch ...

I am a very creative and active person. I have been dancing for 4 years in a dance club, with which we even won prizes. I also love to play volleyball and get to know other active team sports. I just graduated from high school and that's why I am very excited to go out into the wide world.
