Hi my name is Marolyn! I am 20 years old. I want to participate in this experience to get to know a new, beautiful continent/country/state, to learn about the culture, and be able to create unforgettable memories. I’m extremely hard working and understanding. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, and learning! I have experience working on farms, hostels, and with kids!

Hi! My name is Mazzy. I am just beginning my travel journey and I am excited to experience new people, places, and culture. I am very active and outgoing. There is nothing I love more than to pick up and go on a spontaneous adventure!

One of the biggest things I wanted to learn from this trip is Spanish. I wanted to become intermediate at it. I've only learned a little bit since starting in January, but that's also my fault for only volunteering at hostels. Now that I'm three months into my travels I'm wanting to take it more serious and actually learn. So because of this I want to only volunteer at Spanish speaking places so it will force me to learn. I can help you learn my native language which is English!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Marolyn:
I have loads of experience working at hostels/hotels. When I was backpacking central america for five months I always would volunteer at a hotel or hostel. therefore I'm very experienced in customer service and I know what to expect. i can also pick up tasks quickly because of my experiences volunteering at these places!

I have some experience working with bigger animals, such as horses/cows. I have volunteered at a farm before. There I helped with cleaning stalls and feeding the animals.

I also went to Sweden to become an Au Pair for four months. I took care of a 3 year old, 9 year old, and a 12 year old. They all looked up to me as a big sister!

Therefore I am wanting to continue my travel journey whether that’s au pairing or doing something else. I love to try new things all the time and I’m very open minded! In addition to my aupairing experience I’ve also worked in customer service that has given me skills and knowledge about handling certain situations.


Mazzy: I am a dedicated and motivated person. I always strive to help anywhere and everywhere I can. I had the opportunity of working at a plant nursery learning about many different varieties of greens that have so many different uses. I have worked in many restaurants, handling food, and serving people the best I can. Throughout living on a small piece of land, I have had a lot of experience with livestock and other farming. Being outdoors is where I am the happiest, but I thrive in any work environment I am given.

Was noch ...

We love nature, the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, etc. We love to sail and go out on boats too. We rather spend our days outside than in and prefer to be outside. We also enjoy working out and going on hikes. We pretty much love to do anything that involves being outside. Which includes traveling :)

I am going to be solo traveling from now on and therefore it will only be one of us! (Marolyn)
