After traveling through Europe we crossed the Atlantic working a sailing boat to Martinique. Then we spent some time in the Carribean (Antilles, mostly) and sailed with another boat to Colombia.

Beschreibung

Hi! We are Max (29) and Audrey (22) and have lived in Berlin for the past few years. We quit our jobs and gave up our apartment to travel the world for the next years with only the things we carry in our backpacks. Our plan is to hitchhike over land and seas and without taking a plane. At first we traveled through Eastern Europe and went on to Spain, where we sailed around the Balearean Islands. From Gibraltar we managed to sail over the Atlantic Ocean to the Carribean Islands and spent a few months in the Antilles. Recently we finally arrived in Colombia and will slowly make our way to the South.
While hitchhiking we always get so much help from the lovely people picking us up. In return, through Workaway we want to help out other people, experience foreign cultures, learn new skills and improve ourselves.

We are basically interested in everything. We are open minded to new people, new countries, new experiences and we are always seeking new adventures and challenges.

I am Max, a Civil Engineer and Outdoor / Wilderness Guide. The last years, besides working and studying, I've travelled many different countries and continents mostly by hitchhiking, camping and spending a lot of time in the nature.
My goals for our world trip is to improve my outdoor guiding skills, learn new languages, learn how to sail, get new skills through Workaway and of course meet new people and make lots of friends.

I'm Audrey, and have worked as a bartender and in a kindergarten the past few years. I've always had fun taking care of kids (babysitting, swimming lessons, summer camps, you name it) and work well with other people.
Growing up I've mainly seen tourist traps and sites, which is why I love meeting new cultures and properly get to know a country. I want to spend some time in nature, challenge myself and grow. As mentioned before, I'd love to learn languages and gain more experience but ultimately, I'm open and happy to learn anything i get the chance to.
