Hi,
My name is Marijana and I live in a small town in Slovenia close to the capital Ljubljana. I work as a teacher in a primary school (6 years old children).
I’m open-minded, positive, easy-going and creative woman. I am flexible, communicative and open to new adventures. I love eating healthy food and discussing about laws of life. I like music (playing instrument and singing). I was part of a mixed voice choir. I recently directed a children's choir, too. I enjoy sports such as skiing, hiking, swimming, rollerblading, cycling…
I enjoy a mostly plant-based diet, but I am easy-going when it comes to food and do not expect anyone to cook differently for me. I simply try to limit wheat and dairy products whenever possible, as I feel better without them.
My passion is meeting people and learning from them as well as sharing my knowledge and ideas. I like travelling, being in the nature and trying new things.
I have hosted many people via Workaway, as well as having already spent several weeks as a Workawayer myself, both of which were wonderful experiences. Workaway in Austria and Switzerland has helped me improve my German speaking skills to a high level. I want to improve my English speaking skills, too.
The work I can do varies from looking after children, to helping generally with your daily activities and chores. I am able to cook a variety of healthy meals and I enjoy sharing recipes. A workaway adventure will be a big chance for me to experience something amazing, to meet new cultures and improve my language skills. I would love to be welcomed as part of the family. -
