Beschreibung

We are a family of three who are actively creating beauty and love wherever we go. We homeschool/unschool, which means we are free to spend our days together experiencing the beauty of the natural world. We love to be outside together exploring the forrest, the oceanside, the rivers, and the streams. We are always learning about the plants, the birds, the animals, and we enjoy learning new primitive skills like fire making, carving, spinning, and natural dying. We believe that the natural world has so much to teach us, so we listen and enjoy being in relationship to the earth.

Maria (mother) is a herbalist, birth attendant, and alchemist, who is always creating art and beauty wherever she can. I love making teas, tinctures, salves, creams, and hydrosols and I love sharing these creations with my loved ones. I have had the privilege of attending many births as a doula and I enjoy taking care of mothers as they welcome in their little ones. I believe that taking care of mothers and babies, means that you are taking care of humanity, so I am well educated on the importance of honouring a mother's true needs. I am passionate about nutrient dense foods, and love cooking and creating delicious meals using healthy ingredients. We eat a lot of colours in our meals, and we source the best possible ingredients with a preference for wild meats or pastured animals from an organic farm nearby. I also love music, and have been focusing on singing and learning ancestral songs from different lineages. In my deepest heart, I honour indigenous wisdom as all our our birth rites, and my actions on the earth are in service to us remembering who we are as humans on the earth.

Luca is eight. He is a wonderfully sweet and kind child with a big heart and imagination. Lucas loves being outside where his imagination is free to explore and wander along the vastness of landscapes that he discovers. He loves building houses out of natural materials for the gnomes and fairies, and he also loves writing and creating stories about them. Luca is also very skilled at fire making, bow and arrow, riding his bike, and being a good friend.

Nur is five. Her nickname is Nunu :) Nunu loves singing and dancing and imaginative play. She's pure fire and anything she wants to do, this fire child will find a way. Nunu is creative with her little animal friends called "calico critters" and she loves playing make believe with them and taking them on adventures. She is passionate and has a fierce heart for what she loves. She loves animals, and flowers, the colour purple, butterflies, and stories. She's fun to be with and will be sure to entertain you with dances and song :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have spent many years living on different permaculture farms and I have also learned a little bit about biodynamic gardening. I am happy to spend time in the garden with the knowledge and passion that I have, and I am always learning each year :)

My expertise is in foraging for wild foods and medicines, and making home care products such as teas, tinctures, oils, salves, and food. I have worked in my community as a herbalist and I am happy to teach and share what I know.

I have helped on farms with many different animals. I love cows :) My children love taking care of all animals, and they love being in the garden too.

I am very interested in natural building, and although I have very little experience, I am strong and always willing to learn. My kids too are enthusiastic about projects that they can relate too, that are done in a fun way, and that inspire them.

We love to cook and are always making delicious nutrient dense meals. We are good kind company who enjoy sharing open hearts with those we meet.

Was noch ...

My children and I live a simple and natural life in the forrest and near the ocean on the island which we live on. We like to spend all of our days outside, foraging, and gathering plants to make medicines, foods, and other wonderful things!

Since the children were born they have always lived on a farm, as we value this type of lifestyle to nourish our soul. We like to meet others who have this same orientation, and welcome you in meeting us!
