Hi!
I am a 30-yo engineer with experience working as a consultant for energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings. After graduating from a master's program in Sweden (oriented towards energy efficiency and environmental approach in building design) I moved to New York for a consulting job. Having faced the difficulties of working in an office for long hours in a very hectic and stressful environment, where the pressure of the commercial aspect takes over the joy of creation and connection to people, I have decided to slow down and recalibrate my approach to work and life.

I remain very passionate about the sustainable, environmentally friendly methods in building design, however I feel that I am lacking the practical skills to better understand and connect the design theory with its execution. I am always looking for different ways to help create better buildings - whether through using natural materials, applying passive measures for cooling, heating and ventilation or creating smart systems for water/ air conditioning, using as little conventional technology as possible and relying on building physics principles. I am also interested in learning more about permaculture and taking advantage of the abundance that nature has to offer.

My dream is to collaborate with like-minded people, and help to create buildings and spaces where comfort and well-being of the occupants, energy use, cost and environmental impact are crucial considerations.

I am a very positive, open-minded person, eager to learn anything and everything the project has to offer. Above all, I appreciate the human connections. I am looking forward to hearing from you :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have worked a bit in the past with hempcrete (wrote my bachelor's thesis on its properties) and have experience on more conventional construction sites, checking the quality of construction and allignment with the drawings. Otherwise I don't have any builidng skillls but am very eager to learn!

Was noch ...

I am addicted to being in nature - going for walks, runs and hikes is my form of self-care. Otherwise I am passionate about travelling, meeting people and learning about different cultures. I love music in all forms - I don't play any instrument (other than occasionally my vocal cords :) ) but would love to learn.
