Hi there, my name is Maggie - I love to travel, have new experiences, and meet new people!

At the moment, I'm working as a plant 🌱 health inspector for the Canadian government in southern Ontario. As that job would suggest, I'm very interested in forests, sustainability, all things plant-related, and the outdoors in general. Prior to my current work, I spent a number of years in food service, conservation, and environmental work.

My past workaway/wwoofing/helpx experiences have been incredibly valuable to me. My ideal environment is where the work is hard but meaningful, the days long, and the people kind and interesting. I love new challenges, good conversations and food (especially good food). I'm lucky to have gained experiences through workaway/wwoofing/helpx in animal husbandry, farm work, gardening and so much more.
