Beschreibung

I live in the city of Montreal, Canada. Previously I have also lived in the United States, Germany and China. My desire for personal growth and pursuit of life missions have led me to move cross continents a couple of times. I have always loved travelling - it is such a wonderful way to make friends, and to appreciate the diverse cultures in the world.

Personally I wear a few different hats. Academically, I have a doctoral degree in cellular and molecular neuroscience, having previously worked in research both in academic and in industrial settings. In the past few years, my life has taken a wilder ride - I dabbled in projects such as biotech start up financing, charity/not-for-profit governance, organic farming, among others. It has not only given me an appreciation of life outside of academia, but also led me to discover and to be in touch with my calling and life mission - to promote peace and foster prosperity on our planet.

Having grown up in a farmer family, my parents, aunts and uncles used to have many farm animals such as chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, goats, etc. My grandparents used to grow many varieties of fruits and vegetables. I am used to going to the field and helping out after school, albeit often reluctantly when I was little. As an adult I appreciate so much more the rehabilitating power of working with our hands, and being in touch with the land always keeps me grounded.

I am a very social person who likes to meet other people. I realized that everyone has a story to tell. Listening to different perspectives helps us expand our mind, discover our blind spots, and appreciate our diverse ways of thinking. I also love cooking, hiking, cycling, skiing, camping and other outdoor activities.

I have experience in organic farming, horticulture, and I am generally quite handy. I also have been told that I am a good cook. I also have experience working with communities, organizing events, attending people, etc. I do know a lot about biology, especially the nervous system, and I have some experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
