Hey! My name is Madison.
I am from a rural town in Montana in the United States where I grew up in the mountains with my four siblings, dogs, and occasional moose or bear. I recently graduated from University where I studied languages and art. (Spanish, Portuguese, and ASL) Now am hoping to pursue work teaching language and interpreting abroad! The more you learn to speak, the more you can connect with others <3
I also enjoy soccer, rugby, hiking, biking and Jujitjsu. I love to dance and hope to learn to do it a bit better during my travels haha. In my downtime, I enjoy creating art, music, and journaling.

With workaway, I hope to meet people and gain a new perspective on life. I am searching for healthy ways to live for myself, other people, and our planet and would love to learn from the hosts here. I am always excited to share culture and passions with new people!

I am a fluent native speaker of English and am completing my TESOL to become an English teacher. I can speak Spanish and am learning Portuguese.
I have 1 year of social media marketing experience, including scripting, filming, and editing.
With experience as a wildland firefighter, I am skilled at manual labor, tool use including electric handsaws, chainsaws, axes, etc.
I grew up gardening and working at a botanical garden and would be excited to help in your garden!
I have extensive customer service experience, such as bartending, serving, cashiering, and working in a library. I know how to work under pressure and handle conflicts with professionalism and respect.
I am a trained cook and learned to cook for over 40 residents in a nursing home. I know the basics but I am always excited to learn new recipes!
