Beschreibung

We are endlessly enthusiastic and positive people who love to travel and explore the world. We are both university students of European languages and between us we can speak, to at least an intermediate level, English, French, German and Italian. We are particularly looking forward to developing our language skills and sharing our British culture with you as I am sure you would share your culture with us. We have previously travelled across France, Italy, Austria and Germany, and we would love to be able to explore even more of continental Europe.

For the last year, Luke has been living in northern Italy (not far from the Dolomites) and Charlotte in Austria. It’s been an incredible, life-changing experience and we’re excited to now explore somewhere new!

We are excited to help you with your projects and anything that you may need us for. We are dedicated, highly capable, learn very quickly and eager to learn new skills. We enjoy meeting new people and engaging in interesting discussions about culture, film and literature.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both university students who have a passion for travelling and languages. Between us we can speak English, French, German and Italian to at least an intermediate level. Charlotte also has some knowledge of Spanish. We have travelled solo across Europe, which demonstrates our independence, desire for cultural immersion and ability to adapt to new situations.

We both have experience in teaching and working with children: both of us have taught a foreign language to younger students, Charlotte has completed work experience with a primary school and Luke has been tutoring a secondary school pupil in English language and literature.

Having had many different part-time jobs, we have a wealth of professional experiences between us. For instance, Luke has worked in a pub, an art gallery and a supermarket, whilst Charlotte has worked in a supermarket and a cafe. These jobs have taught us to work as a team and as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Furthermore, Luke completed a Duke of Edinburgh expedition, which involved 20-25km of hiking, cooking and setting up camp in a field. In the past, Luke has occasionally fixed things around the house, including toilet seats, and has helped out with gardening.

Charlotte has helped out looking after young children in her family and both of us enjoy cooking and baking. Having lived away from home at university, we have lots of experience in doing general household tasks, such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Was noch ...

We are both avid readers and love watching films. Also, we both really enjoy playing board games and card games such as Monopoly, Scrabble and Uno. Our new favourite is a game called Skyjo. We’ve recently done some hikes in Central Europe and love exploring nature.
