Heya, my name is Lucy - I was born in Northern Ireland, I have lived in Scotland for 4 years, and I have volunteered all over the world.

I am a Philosophy-Politics graduate, in a gap year to save money/travel before I work on my postgrad degree in Belfast. I'm 23 years old and open to cultural exchanges and experiences where I can see a little more of the world! I've been doing this since I was 19, and a lot has changed.

I am becoming an experienced traveller, more-so than I was than when I began doing workaways, and I am open to new adventures and to seeing more of the world that is outside of what I am used to and that are away from the tourist trails. I'd like to see the real side of most of the countries I visit, and not just the side that the tourist committee would like me to see. I'm also just open to learning, open to anything that I can put on my CV, and hopefully make me more employable lol.

Open to any experiences where I can learn French, I've been working on my French skills for a year now and could use some real-world experience! Cultural and language exchanges would be banging.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Have experience in teaching English to non-native speakers in Warsaw, Poland and Casablanca & El Jadida in Morocco. Through this I have taught in several styles, such as one-to-one tuition, guiding people through exams and qualifications, and in classroom settings (in both my accent was considered the "difficult" one, so if you need a challenge for people aspiring to get better at English, consider me!)
- I have experience farming in Turkiye for a company named Farge Organik. I put up supports for vegetables, took care of animals (sheep, geese and chickens), and did general maintenance on the farm.
- Through Guides, I have led groups and been in charge of several camping events. This involved cooking, cleaning, pitching tents, as well as organising and leading these events
- Proficient in both piano and trumpet, as well as musical theory (and able to teach)
- Good at art
- Working on muay Thai and rock climbing as a hobby

I would be willing to help out in any capacity necessary.

I'd like to gain more practical skills for my day-to-day, from how to hold conversational French to how to fix a door, or even how to garden. Skills that would be helpful for my future life and living more independently. Open to anything! (within reason, no skydiving anytime soon)
