Hi! I'm Leonardo, I'm 19 years old, and I live near Lake Como in northern Italy. I'm a university student studying Agriculture at the State University of Milan.
I would love to spend September abroad to explore new places, meet new people, and learn by doing. What motivates me the most is personal growth, stepping out of my comfort zone, improving my English, and having unique experiences that can enrich my life.
I used to be a scout, so I really value teamwork, respect, and outdoor life. I'm passionate about nature, especially the mountains and lakes around my home. I love swimming in cold rivers, walking in the woods, or simply spending time outdoors.
I'm open-minded, calm, and always ready to help out. I like working with my hands, I enjoy cooking, and I like challenging myself. I'm also respectful, resourceful, and curious to learn about different lifestyles and cultures.
I can't wait to meet new people, share stories, and be part of a community, even if it's just for a few weeks!

I'm really motivated to improve my English because I believe it's super important! Knowing English means you can travel the world and talk to almost anyone, no matter where they're from. Even with the basic English I know now, I've already had some great interactions with people from other countries, and I really enjoyed that. I'm excited to learn more and become even better at communicating globally!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Over the years, I have developed several skills. Thanks to my studies, I have improved my problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and my experience as a scout taught me how to work well in a team. I am flexible, able to adapt to different situations, and willing to step out of my comfort zone for personal growth.
​My family runs a B&B, where I learned the importance of attention to detail and customer care. I have also worked as a youth leader during summer camps and community events, which helped me develop teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and good communication skills.
​I consider myself a proactive, energetic, and positive person. I can't wait to discover new things and share stories.

I love staying active and fit. I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a fantastic martial art that teaches how technique is always stronger than brute strength.
