Beschreibung

Hi there! My name is Lena and I am 24 years old. I am a marine biologist, currently working and living in the Azores. In Fall 2025, my boyfriend and I will move to Anadalusia for his studies at University of Granada.

In my free time, I like to be active. I practice yoga and want to do my 200h yoga certification soon. As a marine biologist and ocean lover, I also spend a lot of time in the ocean, surfing, scuba-diving and freediving.

I enjoy life to the fullest and try to live everyday with as much joy as possible! I see the good in people and believe that putting a smile on someone else's face makes yourself smile even bigger.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a lot of experience with childcare. I have been babysitting for over a decade now (ages 2-8) and I also worked as an Au Pair for 6 months (age 3 and 5). Working with children has really shown me how easy it is to make someone happy (or upset haha) with the smallest gesture.

From January - April 2025, I worked as a workawayer for the first time. I was living on a permaculture farm and taking care of the children, the chicken, dogs and the garden. I had a fantastic time, fully immersed in nature and with amazing people.

Besides my work as a Marine Biologist, I work as a social media manager for a NGO, making videos and creating posts for educational outreach and science communication.

At home, I cook almost entirely seasonal and local food (vegetarian) and I am a big fan of composting and growing my own food.

In general, I am quite a handy person, I am willing to learn and pick up new skills in every way possible!

Was noch ...

I am a very positive person and I believe everyone deserves to live a happy life! I care about the environment and try to live as sustainable as possible. We all share the same home - our beautiful planet - and no matter who we are, we all deserve to be here.
I think that with the right attitude and intentions, we can all make the world a better place!
