Beschreibung

I would describe myself as an empathic and sensitive person with a critical mindset and a passion for life-long learning. With a background in social sciences, I like questioning the world in which we live and constantly thrive for expanding my horizon of knowledge--by reading, by exploring other cultures, by getting out of my comfort zone, through social interactions. I particularly value deep, empathic human connections and seek through my everyday lives to live in an ethical way, towards nature, and towards others.

Having grown up in a small village in France, I particularly enjoy being in nature. I have previously volunteered as a Wwoofer in Norway and in England, where I have gained knowledge about organic farming and lived in self-sustainable communities. I also did workaway in Greece (Rhodes). I would like to further expand my volunteering experiences by taking part to Workaway opportunities

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Proficient in English and French
- Handy work: I particularly enjoy manual work, from building wooden furnitures and painting walls, to unclogging a sink full of hair, changing light bulbs, etc. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty
- Gardening/farming: weeding vegetable gardens, feeding farm animals, watering plants, cutting plants, etc.
- Administrative work: I previously worked in a (self-sustainable) hostel where I have acquired administrative skills, from managing a database and communicating with external partners, to updating/designing the hostel's website
- (Small-scale) event organisation
- Bartending
- Cooking
- Cleaning/housekeeping: I have experience with housekeeping and cleaning tasks. I worked several years as a temporary house helper for elderly living on their own and have helped with housekeeping and with cleaning tasks while working in a hostel.
- Legal work: I hold a bachelor in European law and can help with legal work (drafting legal documents, etc.)
- Other skills: team-worker, creative and imaginative, able to work independently, very high work-ethic
