I am quite easy going, two of my favourite things in the world being engaging with people and spending time outdoors (preferably both!). I love meeting new people and learning about their life, hobbies, cultures, passions. Additionally, I love spending any time I can outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and exploring new landscapes and climates.

I’m down for just about any adventure, and am always eager to try something new and learn a new skill.

As far as passions go, teaching and bettering the lives of youth is at the top of my list. I’ve been a basketball and volleyball coach for 7 years, and have also tutored university math and physics. During my computer engineering degree I created and maintained multiple programs teaching kids engineering and computer science. It is definitely one of my favourite things to do :)

I am eager to travel and become immersed with different people and cultures. Once I return from travelling, I plan to become a middle years teacher!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a degree in computer engineering, and worked as a software engineer at Google for 3 years before quitting to travel full time.

Throughout university I created multiple outreach programs that allowed students to teach kids engineering and coding skills. At work, I hosted many (10+) sessions teaching students aged 9-14 how to code. I also have tutored university math and physics.

I’ve been a high school (ages 14-18) basketball and volleyball coach for 7 years, and also play soccer and ultimate frisbee.

English is my native language, and used to have good conversational French (could likely pick it up again if practiced).

I also participated in student government within university (was the president of the engineering society) and am a very confident public speaker, organizer, and leader. I am also always the friend who plans the get togethers :)

Outside of that, I just love to learn. Would love to utilize my skills, or gain some new ones, for whatever challenge is put my way!

Was noch ...

In my free time I love to explore whether I am, as well as do some nearby hikes. Also love to just relax on a beach. I love playing card games, and always enjoy learning new ones from new friends.
