Hello from Greece!

I am Kosta. I was born in 1992 in Athens, Greece where I grew up and live.

I am an open person. I like to share and I am curious about others.
I joined workaway wishing to broaden my horizons, travel, meet and connect with interesting people.

Currently professionally my interests revolve around kids and teams. I have several jobs. I work as an experiential educator at educational programs in the city and in the forest. I work at the Emotions Museum facilitating the educational program 'In Anger's Palace'. I also work as an animator at kids parties and as a facilitator at corporate team building events.

My greatest passion during the last few years is theater. I have been taking theater and improv theater classes and I had the chance to perform in a few shows with my teammates :)

I love swimming, hiking and spending time in nature.

In 2024 I participated in 4 Erasmus+ training courses in Italy, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania, where I had amazing times and I met great people, some of whom I keep in my heart.
In 2026 I aspire to travel and connect even more through workaway :)

My skills come from my work with kids and with teams both in educational and in recreational settings. I am good with groups, presenting an educational program, facilitating educational interactive activities and team building games.

I love theater. I have been taking classes and I would love to share theater and improv theater games and activities.

I love the sea!
I like sports. My favourite is tennis and any sport with a racket.
I like being in nature. Forests, hiking and of course swimming in the sea!
I love reading books, mainly novels, and watching films.

I enjoy meeting people with different backgrounds, having conversations and sharing experiences and I like to think that I have a good sense of humor :)

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Join our language school ...)

In July 2026 I had the chance to work at the summer camp, as a camp leader, in Lithuanian countryside.

My experience was, overall, amazing!

I worked for three shifts (three weeks) with teens aged 11-17 years old. My daily tasks included some of the following: morning exercise, lake time, language activities, board games, conversation circles, … read more sports, serving meals, morning and evening circles and evening program.
The combination of tasks was different every day. The amount of work was ok and as had been agreed. The tasks were scattered across the day, leaving enough time for me to rest, relax and enjoy some personal time.
The accommodation was comfortable and the food was nutritious, of good quality and well cooked.

The team members were from different countries, all of them interesting young people, fun to be around and easy to work with. Huge thanks to Moth, our campsite manager who organized our work so well making sure everything runs smoothly. At the same time she managed to care for our well-being and make a lot of jokes. I really appreciate you, Moth.
Also huge thanks and congratulations to Aurelija who has been running these summer camps for 17 years. Thanks to your work and organizational skills, the camps run really smoothly, with a very well structured schedule. The result is a camp where both the campers and the camp leaders feel safe and included, welcomed to know each other, have fun, spend quality time together and practice English in structured activities, conversations and throughout the day.

Regarding the work, the first days where a bit challenging, as everything was new. I had the freedom to design language activities and conversation circles, with support from Aurelija whenever I needed it. That was a very creative process for me. I got the chance to try various activities I had planned. Very quickly I noticed what works and what doesn’t, and I adjusted the activities so the participants got more engaged. As days passed, I became accustomed to the schedule, the activities run more smoothly and I could enjoy every day more.

I really enjoyed my time in the camp and I learned a lot. I enjoyed being in nature, spending time and having fun with the campers and the camp leaders, designing and facilitating my own language activities and conversation circles. Extra bonus fun were the evening programs with theater, where both campers and camp leaders could let our imagination completely free!

I totally recommend this workaway whether you have experience in working with teens or not!
