Hi I'm Sumithra
I'm a happy fun loving 56 year old that loves outdoors. I joined a CSA organic vegetable farm in 2015 here in the UK (been living here for 22 years) and fell in love with farming and all things related. This has transformed me and made me a better person learning new skills, meeting new people and learning various cultures as I go along. What better place there is other than being a Workawayer! I have had such positive experiences so far and long may this continue!
I work full time in the National Health Service as a dietitian and food plays a major role in my job too! I also run a south Indian pop up restaurant called Chacma during weekends. Insta handle: chacmakitchen
I would love to volunteer in organic farms, vineyards, help with canning and jam making, cheese making etc as I do adore the people and the culture during my visits there (similar to my own as I have been born and brought up in India) on holidays.
Cooking (no surprise there!) is my major interest but still willing to learn other cuisines.

I love organic farming and all things associated with this. I volunteer on a vegetable organic CSA farm for the last 3 years and have come to enjoy this.
I'm fun loving and enjoy working outdoors. Love to cook too and love to learn other cuisines
