Beschreibung

I'm university student currently in the process of completing a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate. Having lived in Canada as an immigrant for 11 years and volunteered as a Workawayer in different countries, I have developed great passion for teaching as well as learning new languages and different cultures! I have been equipped with the skills and knowledge (Communicative Language Teaching) necessary for lesson planning, teaching vocabulary, grammar and English conversation skills at different English immersion camps and language schools.

I am also experienced in creating and leading group activities and games, and helping around the house. Apart from the serious "work", I love to organize some "alternative" activities with my hosts, such as testing different recipes, kayaking, cycling, hiking, playing soccer and basketball or camping! When volunteering at local schools, I enjoyed playing language games and having meaningful conversations with students. I think that the best way to engage students into their lesson is to have fun with them and become a part of them!
