Hi! We’re Katharina (21) and Novak (22), and we’re starting our first Workaway adventure. We would love to experience real everyday life, not just a short vacation.

Hi!
We’re Katharina (21) and Novak (22), starting our first Workaway adventure. We currently live together in Katharina’s hometown in the Austrian mountains.

We met in summer 2024, working at the same hotel, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Novak originally planned to come from Serbia to Austria for just one season, but he’s returned several times on seasonal visas. Since we both work in hotels that have breaks in spring and autumn, we want to use that time to travel and truly experience new places, not just as a short vacation, but as real everyday life.

We’re open, friendly, relaxed, and very nature-loving. We enjoy going to the gym, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors, as well as quiet evenings and good conversations.

We’re happy to help in many areas:

Katharina currently studies Psychology and works as a head of department in a kids’ club, and enjoys helping with children.
Novak works as a chef and loves assisting with meals.
With his previous experience as a tiler, Novak also brings handy skills, and Katharina has creative experience from DIY projects and painting walls.

Languages:

Katharina’s native language is German. She speaks fluent English and has just started learning Serbian and French.
Novak’s native language is Serbian. He speaks fluent English and has been learning German for about six months.

We’re excited for new experiences, meaningful connections, and hands-on collaboration.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Katharina currently works as Kids’ Club Head of Department and is trained in hospitality and cooking through tourism school, so she enjoys helping with children, cooking, and creative projects like DIY or painting. Novak is a chef, trained in security, and has hands-on experience working in his family’s tiling business, making him reliable, handy, and adaptable. Together, we’re open to helping with house projects, household tasks, childcare, cooking, or hands-on projects, and we’re excited to contribute while experiencing everyday life at your place.
