Hiya! My name is Karolina and I am a Chicago native looking for a new adventure after some time in the business world. I am a lively, open-minded person and always up for a challenge, I'll try anything once! I have a passion for cooking and baking, and I love the way that food brings people together. I am a lover of dance, movement, and live music. I like to work hard and relax hard, whether that means sitting out by the beach or on top of a mountain- nature makes my heart sing!
After living in the beautiful Sierra Nevada's for the past 4 years, I recently came back to Chicago and have found that the hustle and bustle of this charming city no longer serves me the way it used to. Now I am looking to hit the road and lean into a slower and more meaningful life. I am super excited to start my journey on workaway again as I have had so many awesome experiences with hosts in the past.
After spending some time as a volunteer in the Caribbean, I have fallen in love with sailing and being on the water. I'm keen on any opportunities that will get me on a boat... be it in or out of water!

I've worked in multiple customer service/ relationship- building roles and feel more than comfortable taking on those duties. Most of my job experience is working with small businesses, where I have taken on business development/ logistics. I have experience in taking care of people of all ages- infants, children, and elderly. Having spent summers in the country I learned to garden and take care of animals. I would be more than happy to help in any areas I would be needed. I hope to get involved in the communities I stay in and truly experience everything they have to offer. I'm motivated and excited to try new things and see what gets thrown in my direction with a smile on my face. :)
