I am originally from Poland, 41 years old and have lived and worked in the UK for over 20 years. I graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in International Travel Management and have worked in the education sector. I am also a qualified yoga teacher, Reiki facilitator, sports massage therapist, a recently qualified dental nurse and I have completed my TEFL qualification to teach English as a foreign language.

Over the years I have travelled extensively, learning new skills, meeting inspiring people and experiencing different ways of life. Through my volunteering I have taken part in a wide range of activities including housekeeping, cooking, gardening, general maintenance, hospitality, reception work, childcare, farming and off-grid living.

My experiences include a Workaway stay on Vancouver Island, helping on a small organic farm in the mountains of California, working at an ecolodge in Panama, assisting teachers in a kindergarten in Costa Rica, helping at a hostel in Peru and teaching English to young children and teenagers in Mongolia. One of my most memorable experiences was living off-grid in the Yukon for six weeks in extreme winter conditions where I learned practical skills such as using a chainsaw, cutting wood, starting fires from scratch and adapting to a very simple lifestyle.

When I am in the UK I also volunteer at a homeless shelter and support a dental charity that provides care for people experiencing homelessness.

I am a hardworking, positive and open-minded person who enjoys being active and contributing where help is needed. I am not afraid of physical work or getting my hands dirty and I genuinely enjoy learning practical skills and supporting projects. I love discovering local cultures, connecting with people and embracing new challenges.

My interests include travelling, yoga, cycling, running, singing, dancing, cooking, writing travel blogs, learning languages and reading about spirituality, meditation and personal development.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Help our Sustainable ...)

It's just insanely crazy to think that my 3 week voluntary work is over. The time flew by, I'm rather confused 🤣 It's been wonderful. Areco de San Antonio (province of Buenos Aires) is gorgeous. Plus their gorgeous son with the most sweetest eyes ever and their adorable pets (Simba and Timon) made my stay even more special ❤️

I said it before but will say once again 'YOU GUYS ROCK'. You inspired me with your hard work, with the dream to create a space for people to reconnect with nature using original materials true to the old abondoned barn that stood once here. Your precision and eye for detail leaves me special. The barn is not there anymore but a little paradise however you need to get there first to experience it firsthand. My words are not sufficient enough in this instance I'm afraid!

For that reason work didn't feel like work. I could sense how much love you put into your project so I added some extra. Just because I felt safe, appreciated and trusted to accomplish my daily duties and more. In overall I was responsible for the general maintenance of property, anything that needed to be done inside or outside, garden, guests coming for the long weekends, preparing breakfasts, cooking at times and customer care.

I had space to explore and go wild with my cooking. You always supplied me with excellent quality food and any other ingredients I needed. Plus I had the freedom to use all the vegetables from the garden and the herbs. Pure heaven!!! Let's don't forget daily yoga and meditation 🙏😍 The communication was smooth and easy. M. spoilt me with his cooking, Italian cook you know 😁 Your food was delicious by the way, thank you!

The place and the surroundings were magical. If you want to escape crazy crowds, WiFi then this is a dream come true. Not for everyone though. If you after partying, need constant social interaction this may not work for you. Plus 'the paradise' changes at night. You are faced with different part of the SURROUNDINGS, more darkness, more sounds that may be unfamiliar at first but then you get used to it. It's just new, that's all.

My dear friends, thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity, to be a part of your household. You inspired me. I relaxed, faced my fears and came to many mindblowing conclusions about myself and my life in general. This was a wonderful end of my worldwide travelling. Now it's time to go Buenos Aires first and Poland!

My role was to communicate with you in English but we ended up speaking Spanish most of the time. Nevertheless we had so much to talk about so that was the only way to communicate sufficiently and effectively. No regrets though. We talked for hours. Sometimes my tongue was refusing to speak, so I knew I needed some time off 😂 Nothing personal.

YOU ARE A GREAT CHEF. I was super spoiled by you, introduced to an Argentinian way of living, culinary adventures and of course invited to the asado with your family. Which is a must in Argentina of course! You are kind, super funny actually and with the big heart. I'm sure life will gift you with things and people you desire. It's all to do with inner work, perseverance and kindness. But please no more wishes for E. T. lady, you know what I mean 😂

I cannot omit your gorgeous cat, black cat in fact always with his tongue out. Even though I'm a dog lover, I FALLEN IN LOVE WITH GATTITO. He is a special friend with incredible energy. He wouldn't leave my side, jumping on my lap, purring away like knew me forever. Jumping into my bed, trying to get into a room by scratching the door or simply waiting by the staircase when I felt sad to give me some purring cat love. I've never seen anything like it. We had some special bond ❤️😻 And his tongue, I mean you cannot feel sad in his PRESENCE OR WITHOUT A GIGGLE 🤣👅 WOW!

You are super talented musician as well. You play drums and trumpet. Wow! Since I sing and love music as well, we had a great understanding of the powerful influence of the sounds! We definitely experienced some rather unusual stuff together, pretty hard to be described in words. Or the time when I talked to you about bineural beats, playing for 30 seconds to then hear the same sounds from the outside. We both went out to be 100 percent sure as it seemed to be impossible to be happening at the same time. Well it did. The song ended and we never heard anything anymore. Even though I was there for 2 weeks. What a synchronicity!!!!??? 👀🤔

I met some of your wonderful friends, with big hearts. I also saw the final football match happening at the Central. It's a must in Argentina!!! Whaaat!!! The energy was just mindblowing, everyone was singing their hearts out. I GOT HIGH JUST FROM THE PEOPLE'S ENERGY. I certainly never experienced anything like it. I wish I could see the whole match, but even 10 minutes were priceless to me. SOMETHING I WILL CHERISH FOREVER ⚽

Plus Rosario is gorgeous too. It's a well balanced space with city busyness and natural spots 👌🏙️
