Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

I am a curious, adventurous and open-minded girl. I am also outgoing, hardworking and have a passion for animals, sustainability, humanitarian issues, feminism, books, and community.

I am travelling with my friendly, 25kg dog Leo - he loves cuddles and has a tolerant/soft temperament. He’s had lots of training, not just fancy tricks, so he can be calm in all situations and is very safe around children / farm animals. He does not chase or bother, and has never been agressive. I have raised him from 14 weeks old and he is my rock. I make sure he is always fulfilled. He is neutered, fully vacinated and insured.
Bonus: he will fetch your keys if you drop them 😉

I love to exchange and experience culture, customs and the boring day to day, contributing wherever we go. I am not afraid to get stuck in and get dirty (the dog makes sure i do!!). I am physically fit, do runs/the gym/hike many miles.

I am eager to cook for others and exchange dishes. I have no dietary restrictions. I can adapt my diet to vegetarian after eating mostly veggie this year so far, but struggle to do vegan (unless u can provide a good cheese alternative😭). My dog eats both meat and veg.

So far we have volunteered at:
- A dog sanctuary in Algarve, Portugal (3 months)
- A permaculture site in Dumfries, Scotland (1 month)
- A homeless shelter in Edinburgh, Scotland (9 months)

My highest level of education is second year of University, studying Ecology & Conservation!
I am studying a Level 5 Canine behaviour and training diploma online currently. I have lots of animal care experience - dogs, cats, horses and small animals. I wanted to be a vet when i was a little girl!
