Hi there! I'm new to workaway but have always dreamt of traveling the world while meeting interesting people and learning cool things... now is the time!
I've just finished my Master in Geography and I'm really excited to spend the next months in different areas of the world: starting in Germany, where I'm currently based, first you'll find me in Morroco, after this I'll be going to Hawai'i --- and who knows where I will travel next?

About me: I am positive and friendly, diligent and reliable, outgoing and adventurous (but in a calm and sometimes shy way :-)), love being in nature and doing creative things.

German is my first language (which can sometimes make it even more difficult to teach :-)). I gave private lessons in German a few years ago.I've studied in English and French and spent several years living in the UK and in France. I regularly teach pupils (age 10-18) English and French.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

✺ with people: I am fluent in German and English (and almost French) and have also taught languages before. I've worked and volunteered in a cultural centre in Germany for a few years now, so I'm familiar with working with all different kinds of people, including group processes, compromising, etc. :-)

✺ in the digital world: Writing texts, proofreading websites, taking photos, using social media is something I have several years of experience in and am very accurate with.

✺ in the house: I love cooking (vegetarian), I'm very tidy and thorough, have painted walls and drawn pictures before, cared for indoor plants and have made some DIY projects. I've lived in shared flats all my live, which is why I know of the value of treating one's home with care and respect.

✺ outside the house: I love hiking and go for some extensive dog-walks, I've built a DIY worm compost once, never had a garden but always managed to harvest some delicious veggies from my window sills.

✺ in venues and social projects: I've worked in a cultural centre for a few years now, which means I have experience in e.g. fundraising and admin tasks, setting up DJ equipment, hosting people from all ages (behind the bar or at the entrance register), advertising online or offline

Was noch ...

In my free time I love doing art projects, yoga, reading, dancing, writing, hiking, mixing music, cooking a large meal and playing cards with friends. I could teach you my current obsession: a game of dice, lino printing or crochet.
I love sharing a laugh together as well as philosophical conversations about deep stuff, going on adventures together is equally great as silently sitting next to each other and enjoying the surroundings.
