Hi I'm Josef!

I am 20 years old and I like to play the piano and football. I like helping others and always try my utmost to make others happy. As a person I am passionate about culture and learning, and I'm at my happiest when I can help others and learn at the same time :)

I've recently done military service as a squad leader in the Swedish army which was very fun and challenging. I would love to continue doing practical things as that was my favorite part, but this time I'd rather put work into something slightly more positive. I love history and nature, so I think my favorite volunteering opportunites would incorporate those two.

I'm quite new to this site. I am the youngest among 4 siblings who all work office jobs, and I am doing everything in my power to avoid going down that path. I like traveling and really just want to see where I'll go without a definitive plan!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am proficient in English having studied International Baccalaureate with a focus on English litterature, Social studies and Physics. I speak Swedish, English, some Feyli Kurdish and understand Arabic. Very basic knowledge in Spanish.

I am well experienced with manual labour and have no problem working long hours. I have done military service and worked multiple jobs that were labour intensive, so don't worry about giving too harsh tasks. Has swedish license of "skyddsvakt", equivalent to special security guard for military instillations. I am very adaptable and can make do with most situations. I am a quick study and pick up skills easily.

Drivers license; can drive both manual and automatic.

I have worked as a teacher's assistant and a football (soccer) coach in my hometown for kids between the ages of 6 and 14. Worked at recreational facilities for kids where I taught piano and held after-school activities.

I really like cooking and have cooked for my family since I was little, so I have no problem helping in the kitchen if needed. I value breakfast and have cooked a full kurdish breakfast for my parents for several years, which I wouldn't mind sharing with you!

I play classical piano and I don't mind playing in front of others if the need arises :)

Was noch ...

As a person I can be a little quiet - chances are that I will spend half my free time walking in nature by myself. I am still very social, but at the same time I value personal time for both parties.

I might tend to some distance studies during the stay. It depends on the season and I will mention it before hand.
