Hello! I'm a 22-year-old artist and writer from New York, where I divide my time between making art, writing, and working in galleries and artists' studios.

I'm currently looking for opportunities to live abroad more slowly—to experience everyday life in a new place while contributing meaningfully to the communities that welcome me. I'm especially drawn to creative environments, whether that's an artist-run space, an educational program, a farm with a studio, or simply a home where ideas, conversation, and culture are valued.

In my free time you'll usually find me reading literature or philosophy, visiting museums, hiking, cooking, drawing, or wandering through unfamiliar neighborhoods. I love learning from people with different backgrounds and believe that travel is most rewarding when it becomes a genuine cultural exchange rather than just sightseeing.

I'm happy to help wherever I'm needed, whether that's organizing projects, caring for a home or garden, assisting with creative work, cooking, or lending a hand with everyday tasks. I'm dependable, thoughtful, and enjoy becoming part of a shared routine.

One of my goals is to improve my German and French while living abroad, and I'd love to meet people who are excited to share their language, culture, and way of life. In return, I'm always happy to share my own experiences, my background in art and art history, and plenty of conversations over a meal or a cup of coffee.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a wide range of practical and creative skills that I would love to contribute during my stay. I’m comfortable helping with everyday household tasks, organization, cleaning, maintenance, and outdoor projects. I enjoy working with my hands and have experience with gardening, studio organization, art handling, and general upkeep.

I also have experience working in a kitchen and enjoy cooking for others. I’m able to prepare a variety of meals efficiently and would be happy to help with meal preparation, shared cooking, or learning new recipes and traditions from the people I stay with.

As an artist, I have strong skills in drawing, painting, and creative problem-solving, and I would be excited to contribute to any art, design, decoration, or renovation projects. I have experience working in artists’ studios and galleries, so I’m comfortable helping with both creative projects and the behind-the-scenes organization that supports them.

I’m a native English speaker and enjoy language exchange and cultural conversation. I’d be happy to help others practice English while improving my own language skills in German or French. I’m adaptable, curious, and enjoy finding ways to contribute wherever I’m needed.

My skills fall across many different categories, but I’m looking for any sort of workaway experience which could broaden my horizons. I am hoping to learn from my trip and get out of my comfort zone a bit, so I would love to try something I’ve never done before or apply my skills in a new way!
