Hello!! My name is Jenny :)
I'm 27 years old and I Iive in the north of Germany. I grew up between Hamburg and the Baltic Sea and moved to Lübeck 2,5 years ago for my job. The past year I had a lot going on and I changed my life completely. I had to leave my flat, quit my job and went on the Camino de Santiago in past October. That time made me realise I want to see more of the world and that's when I applied for the working holiday visa in New Zealand:)
I worked for IKEA for the past 5 years and learned a lot about interior design, visual marketing and graphic design. But was also able to collect skills like painting, wallpapering, flooring and simple electric works. I'm used to work individually and am always open to learn new skills:)
Before IKEA I went to Canada for one year and stayed with 5 different hosts over workaway. it was an absolute amazing experience and I met so many lovely people. During that time I had tasks like gardening, caring for chickens, including cleaning, housekeeping, cooking, sewing and work around a small hotel.
Besides I already traveled a lot in Europe, I love nature and enjoy exploring the wilderness.
I'm not afraid to work hard or outside and I'll try to learn my new tasks as fast as I can ;)

I had English, French and Spanish in school. Haven't really spoken French and Spanish for a too long time now and I would love to refresh them at some point. Since I travelled to Canada for a year I would say my English is pretty okay but always up for improvement:)

- 5 years visual merchandising at IKEA: besides designing and planning visual displays and roomsetting we also built and decorated them, so skills with some architectural programs or painting and some construction

I am a fast learner and open-minded for every kind of work and willing to collect new experiences!
