Hi, we are Jen and Dan

We are looking for somewhere to work and stay while Dan (my boyfriend) and I are traveling in Southeast Asia.

We both work in London, but we are at our happiest away from the city and with nature or animals. We are looking to work with kind people making a difference in a community or environment. In exchange, a chance to immerse ourselves in a new culture and new experiences. We are responsible, honest and love to learn. Dan and I have done lots of volunteering together such as at festivals, dog care and redecorating.

At music festivals we have volunteered as:
- Stewards (assisting overall wellbeing and safety)
- Waste management team , we worked as part of a team separating rubbish and litter picking. We don't mind getting our hands dirty!

DogCare:
Together we have dog sat and dog walked many different dogs, some more difficult than others but we rise to a challenge!

Food:
We are also passionate about food, we are more than happy to cook as part of our help and would love to try new dishes. (Jen is pescatarian)

Redecorating:
We both have experience painting and decorating, happy to do this as part of our help.

About Jen:
I have spent the last year working in film. I am a creative person and I work well with others. I am planning some time to travel as a break from my busy job and a chance to explore a new country.
I have done a workaway previously in France, where I worked on a farm getting to know the family and their animals. The work I did mainly included redecorating, and household chores such as cooking and walking the dogs.
At home in London, I volunteer at London Zoo, where I educate visitors about the animals, the threats animals face and the work the zoo is doing for worldwide conservation and animal welfare. I love to be around animals and I care greatly about animal welfare, the environment and living sustainably.
I am also keen to learn some new languages and share my English too. Last year, I taught art in a German afterschool club as part of a cultural, language exchange, although my German is a bit rusty! Lastly, I am also a big yoga fan!

About Dan:

I'm an estate agent based in London, but I’m looking to take a break from city life and spend some time doing something I really care about—looking after dogs, caring for the environment, meeting new and interesting people. I've always loved being around animals, especially dogs as I have been around them since I was born. I’m more than happy getting stuck into daily care to make sure that they are looked after, and giving them loads of love and attention which every dog deserves. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy the company of dogs(and humans).
Outside of work, I’m really into music and play guitar, especially my acoustic guitar. I was in a band and still love jamming whenever I get the chance—happy to share music or play together, if there is a guitar to hand. I also enjoy cooking especially with Jennifer and other people when I get the chance. I love to keep active, I spend a lot of time in the gym, playing football with my co workers and playing golf with my dad.

We are both easygoing, respectful, and happy to help out wherever we can as well as learn some new skills. We both believe in taking every opportunity and working hard, but also making time to appreciate the peace and quiet.
