Hi!
We are a Hungarian couple Judit and Zoltan living in Italy. We had some wonderful experience with workaway in Italy over 10 years ago and are still in contact with our hosts at the time. In 2024 we spent 3 months in Colombia mostly volunteering on off-grid farms and it was fantastic. We also had a great time in New Orleans. Unfortunately we had to reconnect and go back to our usual life. However, from December we could travel again for ~ 4-6 weeks and are looking for 1 or max 2 places to go. We are especially interested in gardening, permaculture and eco-projects.
Zoltan is helping in a local organic family farm, while Me, Judit is originally a biologist, working behind a computer. In my free time, I also go and help on the farm. When in Colombia we could work outside, planting trees, making vegetable beds, harvesting, looking after the compost and all kind of stuff. Although our Spanish is basic we made ourselves understood everywhere and did not encounter any language problems.
We love nature, meeting people, hiking, visiting new places etc. Zoltan used to work as a roadie, and he is very much into music. We are very open people, who like to laugh and enjoy life, but are (socially and environmentally) sensitive. Although we are middle aged, this doesn't stop us to be a good company and work hard :P

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Zoltan grew up in a village (they had a big garden, a field and animals), was working as a roadie later building stages etc. He is very good in gardening, farm work, and all types of general maintenance and building. We also have some experience in gardening, and love to work outdoors. I speak several languages, have a scientific background and hopefully I can help in various things. Lately I was sitting too much behind the computer so can't wait to do something else. We both are reliable and hard workers.
