Hello! I'm Jade from Hong Kong.

I graduated with a degree in Mathematics from Edinburgh, UK in 2018 and have since gained three years of experience as a business analyst in both the garment trading and real estate sectors in Hong Kong. Recently, I completed my Master's degree in Data Science in Guangzhou, China, in October 2024.

I'm excited to embark on a one-year working holiday in Japan, where I aim to enhance my conversational Japanese skills. I have a passion for cultural exchange and am eager to immerse myself in Japanese life.

I have previously participated in two Workaway projects in 2018 and 2019. One of my experiences was volunteering at a hostel in Guilin, China, where I helped with various tasks, including cleaning and food preparation. I also have hands-on experience in farm work and gardening in the beautiful Azores, Portugal.

I am a native Cantonese speaker, fluent in Mandarin and English, which allows me to communicate effectively and connect with people from different backgrounds. In addition, I am skilled in cooking a variety of cuisines, including Chinese, Western, and some Japanese dishes.

I look forward to contributing to your projects and sharing experiences during my stay!
