Hello everyone! I'm Ivan from Northern Italy and I am currently finishing my degree in Psychology, so I feel it's a good time to see the world.

As an experienced solo traveler, I'm easygoing, extroverted, and I love to meet people and make new connections. I enjoy stepping into the unknown and I'm up for unexpected challenges.

I really treasure the concept of Ichi-go Ichi-e, meaning that even if we cross paths for a single night, for a single beer or for a single bus ride, I try my best to cherish every moment, for it is unrepeatable.

I like cooking, and I'm into reading, history, geography, and human sciences (of course). I have other interests but I wouldn't say I'm an expert (like art, for example) and I'm looking forward to learning more.

I've studied the English Language and Literature, have lived abroad, and having integrated English into my daily life - by reading books and articles regularly and having had relationships with foreign partners - I developed a fluency and a varied vocabulary which would allow me to teach some English! That being said, I'd love to practice my French and Spanish though!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Alongside my current Psychology degree, I've also studied Languages and Communication, a degree that was geared towards becoming an effective communicator across different cultures.
Having had the opportunity to travel and to study abroad multiple times allowed me to develop interpersonal skills and the awareness that is necessary to adapt and coexist with people from different backgrounds.
I enjoy actively listening to others, which is a skill I hold in high regard, crucial for both learning new things (including practical stuff) and living in harmony with other people.

Apart from that, I have some experience in hospitality, having worked in a beachfront hotel in Maryland (USA) for a few months.

I can cook, clean for myself, do some gardening and some basic maintenance with standard DIY tools.
I also have a valid driver's license.

I love to play board games like Bang!, Munchkin, Carcassonne, and more with some friends! I also enjoy learning new card games, I find it fascinating that there are so many around the world.
I'm looking forward to learning more about your country and culture, its food, its rituals, its way of life.
