I'm currently located in Scotland, and I like diving, reading, drawing, painting, creating new crafts, and the natural world. I'm really interested in eco projects and sustainable/ living

Hi everyone:)
I'm Isabella, a 19-year-old traveler from New Zealand with a passion for adventure, learning new skills and meeting people from all over the world.
I love to find new and exciting ways to continue seeing the world, and have travelled throughout South America, Australia and New Zealand, all of which have influenced my outlook on life and the love I have for experiencing new places and cultures.

I have volunteer experience working in Australia planting trees, and in El Salvador working at a turtle sanctuary, both of which I loved and learnt a lot from. Working in these places allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of local lifestyles, build my skills in communication and team work, learn to step out of my comfort- zone, and expand my self awareness.

I am adventurous, outgoing, Creative, and I love working outdoors. Being outside is the perfect place for me as I can read, make crafts, have picnic dates with myself, or simply lie in the sun and enjoy my company when I'm in nature.
I also have experience in gardening, and have recently completed a journalism course. I am responsible, friendly, and always eager to learn more skills

I am on Workaway because I think this is the perfect place to grow and discover passions and interests I didn't even know I had. Working with others and learning new things can only help me expand and I'm so excited to connect, learn, and contribute!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a qualified Rescue Diver and certified Lifeguard with current First Aid and Emergency First Responder (EFR) training. I’ve worked in dive shops selling gear, which has given me strong customer service and communication skills. I’ve also completed a barista course and have experience in waitressing, so I’m comfortable in fast-paced, people-focused environments. Recently, I finished a journalism course, which has helped me become an even better communicator and listener. I’ve also done physically demanding work like tree planting, so I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I’m hard-working, reliable, and love working with others in a team. I'm always up for learning something new and giving 100% in whatever I do.

Was noch ...

Drawing, writing, painting, cooking, reading, tending to my veggie garden, crocheting and photography are all things I love to do.

My favourite thing to do is take a blanket with my books, food, or any crafts I'm currently doing and find a peaceful spot outside to set up and read/write/draw/eat

I'm also really into the avatar: the last airbender series at the moment
