Hello! My name is Isaac and I am a caring, passionate and life-loving person.

I recently achieved a bachelor's in Philosophy and having worked as a personal care assistant to a man with cerebral palsy and a man with dementia, I am applying to med school! However, before I start this long journey towards becoming a doctor I want to gain some travel experience, surf, and develop my Spanish. I want to do this through Workaway because it will give me the opportunity to contribute to the place that I stay, giving me a deeper experience of the community there.

- Glastonbury Festival build crew - Underground Piano Bar at Glastonbury Festival (Jun 2019)
- Sports Assistant and Rugby Coach - St Paul's School London (Sep 2019-Jan 2020)
- English language tutor - Artria London Ltd. (Sep 2021-June 2024)...

SKILLS:
- Willingness and ability to learn (demonstrated and developed through university experience as well as having done a wide array of jobs)

Overall, I am a fast and motivated learner and I find value in hard work:

Currently alongside my degree:
I am an English language tutor,
I work as one of 5 head chefs for my living community (96 people) (having also worked on the maintenance and cleaning teams),
I DJ on the radio and at clubs
I just won some funding for a recycling business that a group and I are trying to set up...

In the past:
I have worked as a part-time carer for a man with cerebral palsy,
worked in commercial kitchens,
worked as a waiter,
worked on festival building projects,
interned with the digital media department of a social enterprise company in India,
worked as a rugby coach for 14 year olds at a school,

I play the saxophone and the guitar as well as my DJing. I am always playing football and tennis and doing cold water swimming. I love cooking and trying out new recipes.

I am very interested in yoga and meditation and have completed a 10 day vipassana meditation :)
