Hello! My name is Ilse and I’m a traveling artist from the Netherlands. I love exploring new places to connect with people and learn about different cultures and ways of life. Through volunteering, I get the chance to exchange knowledge, stories, languages, and traditions — and that’s exactly what I value most about traveling.

I work as a photographer and oil painter, with a deep passion for human connection and cultural diversity. In a world that often focuses on our differences, I aim to highlight what unites us — capturing beauty in people and their everyday lives. During my journeys, I photograph the people I meet and the lifestyles I encounter, and once I return home, I turn these moments into oil paintings. I'd be more than happy to offer my photography skills to help document your project, take family portraits, or showcase your business.

Creativity is central to who I am — I love working on artistic projects and bringing new ideas to life. I also enjoy being active in nature, going on hikes, and spending time with animals (I always miss my three cats and dog while I’m away!). I have experience working with children, especially in creative activities and teaching English.

I am a portrait artist who photographs and paints the people I meet during my travels, inspired by human diversity and cultural richness. Alongside my artistic work, I hold a Master’s degree in International Public Health, which has given me a strong understanding of preventive healthcare and wellbeing.

I have experience with photography, creative projects, and content creation, including photographing for social media, websites, and promotional materials. I also have basic skills in website building and can help with writing, storytelling, or designing creative content. I enjoy working with children, caring for animals, and supporting eco or outdoor projects.

I am a creative, adaptable, and motivated person who is always keen to learn new skills and take on new challenges. Whether it’s helping with art, communication, education, or hands-on projects, I am happy to contribute wherever needed and bring positive energy to your project or family.
