Beschreibung

I am a current MFA student of the Yale School of Drama studying acting. I recently finshed my undergradaute studies at NYU Abu Dhabi where I was able to meet cultures and languages from all around the world. I was brought up in a small country speaking a language nobody else understood. It was quite an isolating experience not being able to dream big, travel, get to know other cultures or even express myself in a foreign context. Five years ago I decided to change this and apply for a scholarship that would enable me to study English in the United States. I became an ASSIST scholar and was able to study in a private school in New Hampshire. That was the first time I was ever able to study abroad and immerse myself in a different culture and, of course, master the English language. Now it is my turn to pass on such joy of being able to develop and gain relationships and knowledge in a different language to people who do not have similar chances as I did.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am an actress studying at New York University Abu Dhabi Psychology and Theatre. I have been taking pictures, making documentary, documentary fiction movies featuring my experiences from home and from the many places I visited, collecting stories and representing people who need the space or willing to share. My films have been featured in Labocine and selected as pick of the week. During High school I lived in Germany for a month to perfect my German and learnt with people from all around the world in the Goethe Institute. Before leaving High school I lived in New Hampshire in a year where I reached fluency in my speaking skills and on my return to Hungary started teaching in local High schools, volunteering in international Kindergartens teaching English.
In my free time at university I love joining experimental, social theatre, dance projects to portray and raise awareness to aching problems in our society.

Was noch ...

I love watching and talking about films with other people. My favorite movies are Roma, Piano Teacher, Pianist, What's eating Gilbert Grapes. I love dancing contemporary and I also have a great passion for folk dance and music both to share and learn form others. I love playing board games, any kind but especially card games. I know many games and am interested in sharing them!
