Beschreibung

Hi! We are a young couple taking some time off from our professional jobs to travel our home country of Australia as well as Europe.

We are both easy-going people who love adventure and learning. Steph has a knack for cooking and is always keen to learn about and try traditional recipes and techniques. Ida has a qualification in landscape design so is eager to learn about (and lend a hand) for anything related to gardens and architecture.

Both of us are happiest when being challenged outside of our comfort zones! We love the satisfaction that comes with working hard, meeting new people and fostering community.

At home, Steph works in mental health research and Ida works in project work alongside Aboriginal communities. We both love football (Go Matildas!), camping, eating, reading, walking and swimming.

We keen to seek out work and opportunities that are purposeful and which can teach us something or which align to (or challenge and further) our politics and values. We pride ourselves on being committed, reliable and trustworthy as well as fun, personable and inclusive.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Ida has professional experience in project management (e.g. budgeting, planning) as well as practical skills in landscape design (designing, documenting, specifying). She also has experience in gardening, DIY projects and customer service.

Steph has professional experience in digital research (including developing websites & social media content) and in working with children & youth. She is great at cooking, DIY projects, and sports coaching.

Was noch ...

We love board games (some favourites include Wingspan, Everdell, Root, Scythe) as well as classics (Scrabble, Rummikub etc) and card games (including Scopa, Love Letters etc). We never travel without a set of cards or a portable game and are always keen to involve others in playing.

We are avid readers and love to learn and critically engage with history, the arts, politics and culture. We keep ourselves busy in our home city by taking our small boat out on the lake, going to art galleries, seeing live music and taking bush walks with swimming holes or beautiful views.

We both have big families with lots of small children and are always coming up with fun and fantastical new games for our nieces and nephews.
