Hi everyone!😊

My name is Sara. I am from Norway. I started travelling May 2022 to learn more about different cultures and to see what the world has to offer and teach me. I love yoga, meditation, healthy living & food, hiking, working out, nature (especially water), reading, spirituality and animals, which is why I'm vegan. I am a really warm hearted, helpful, open minded, friendly and funny person, who loves to learn new things and skills! I love to meet and get to know new people.

Work I would love to do on Workaway:
- Childcare: I grew up in a big family, at one point we were 7 people together, so I am familiar with the family chaos. My youngest sister is 10 years younger than me, and I loved spending time with her. I have helped with my 2 nieces and 2 nephews, and I used to coach a children's team of European Handball. I also worked as an Au Pair for a bit over 5 months. I find it very refreshing to be around children, and see how free and happy they are. Only concerned about having fun, and I would love to contribute to that as much as possible.
- Animal care: I have been around animals all my life. I even went to a kindergarten on a farm. I have always had animals in the house growing up and love being around them. I have also done Workaways on farms and similar, and love it. I also did a farm stay in Australia for 3 months working with sheeps and cows.
- Gardening, cutting, watering, cleaning, fruit picking. I have done a lot of it in my life, more so on Workaway. I really love any work that allows me to be in nature, and I find it really therapeutic.
I would also love to do some renovation work, as it is a dream of mine to one day renovate my own home, semi from scratch. So I am very motivated and grateful to learn more about it, cause I do not know too much about it, yet.

I love Workaway, as it is giving an opportunity to get to know the locals, allows me to become a part of families and feel like home while travelling, maybe learn a few local secrets or two, and seeing new cultures and countries beyond the tourist show. Staying at hostels isn't really for me, as I do not party or drink. Instead, I want to explore, go on adventures, learn new life skills and lessons, and play my new ukulele.
Also, fair warning; I am a morning person😉

Sara is a very good Workawayer who we had the pleasure to host for a week earlier this year. She's pretty easy going and not difficult in any way. We were very satisfied with her work exchange. The work was painting which is boring but Sara got stuck into it and achieved a lot for just one week. Yeah we definitely recommend her.
