Hi, my name is Grace! My greatest pleasure in life is listening full-heartedly and exploring the range of human connection and emotion. For the past several years, I have been on a journey of turning inwards to find greater peace, but I find equally as much value in sharing and connecting with others. I am hoping to get to work with my hands and positively contribute to a community, as well as do more creative endeavors. I am a plant and animal lover at heart and also want to continue to foster my connection with mother earth.

Some more about me...I recently graduated college with a bachelor's degree in integrative health and psychology. I am passionate about holistic systems of health like Herbalism, plant medicine, and meditation. I was lucky enough to get to take many classes on this subject matter in a University setting which I think is pretty cool! In the past I have worked for a naturopath, on a farm, in customer service, as a nanny, and as a mental health worker. My dream is to be able to learn more about herbalism, plant medicines, artistic skills, and how to garden/farm through direct experience with elders and individuals who are passionate about what they do.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I consider myself a quick learner and am not easily scared off by hard tasks. I love a challenge and learning how to do new things with my hands. Specifically, I enjoy working with plants and herbs and have experience with plant identification and foraging. I have experience doing physical labor and farming!

I have always had a special place for animals in my heart and find I have a knack for working with them and caring for them. You can put me anywhere working with or on the earth and I will have a smile on my face. I value being grounded and working diligently on the things that matter.

I also love working with people and kids as I come from a large family with 8 nieces and nephews. Coming from a large family also means I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old! I am a great communicator with both babies and adults alike. Incidentally, I have read way too much gentle and natural parenting advice for a childless 22-year-old.

I have practice in areas of meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and natural holistic therapies that I would love to both share and learn more about. One I am particularly fond of is Reiki, as I am a Reiki practitioner! At my last work away, I painted a mural which was super rewarding to me. I'd love to continue doing creative acts.

Other than that, I love to pretend I'm a chef in the kitchen and my friends and family consider me a pretty respectable cook. It feels like an art form to me and I would love to continue experimenting and providing spoonfuls of joy to others. I have experience cooking vegan, vegetarian, and with meat and dairy.

Was noch ...

In my free time, I like to write, read poetry, create art, and have deep and intimate talks about space and the cosmic universe we are all somehow part of. I get along best with creative and free thinkers. I think every human deserves to be heard.

One last thing...I would love to take a shot at editing and filming videos if this is something you might need at your operation. Any art form like this, I'd be happy to learn or self-teach.
