I am a creative soul always seeking the adventure of discovering foreign cultures and experiencing another way of life. Travelling means to me to be open for the unexpected, to meet new people and cultures and always question and broaden my personal views.
After I graduated in 2018 I have been travelling on the African continent, in Europe and latest in India. Wherever I go I work and live with the locals. This way I got to live with a Ghanaian family in rural Ghana, work on a truly Scottish farm in the Highlands, volunteer at a café in Northern India and camp with goat herders in Ladakh.Interessengebiete

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I love everything about drawing, painting, photography, hand crafting and also pottering. I love to be challenged physically and am not afraid to work hard and get my hands dirty.
Working in a waste management project in Ghana I experienced teaching and developing teaching materials in topics like plastic pollution, hygiene and climate problems. I also developed an interest for gardening/farming there.
The will to improve my English and my affinity for nature and hiking lead me to Scotland where I earned truly valuable experiences in the field of (organic) farming from working on a family farm and in a permaculture community building project on the Isle of Skye.
I have a passion for yoga and Ayurveda and any kind of alternative healing approach. In India I got to attend an Iyengar yoga and Ayurveda course, practiced with different teachers and also got to teach during the lockdown.
I am always deepening and extending what I think to know and happily sharing my knowledge and skills with other people.Sprachen

Was noch ...
Traveling in many different countries and working in several environments taught me to adapt quickly and handle any (unexpected) challenge on the way.
Yet the most important thing for me is to have lots of fun. Don't take life too seriously (:Etwas mehr Information

Very remotely situated in the most beautiful Scottish countryside there is no better place I can imagine to experience yoga and creating some headspace than here. There was almost constantly work waiting to be done (cleaning, kitchen duties, painting, gardening etc.) but the team would always make… read more

Steph, Carl and David are all very welcoming. They would always make sure me and the other Workaway girl had everything we needed and more.
Wigtown is a tiny but very lovely place and I enjoyed several walks in the area.
Working in the café was fun and even though I struggled with the Scottish accent in the… read more
