What motivates me? People!
What brings me happiness? Also… people!

Hi, I’m Giulia, an Italian with a big heart, a curious mind, and a passion for meaningful human connections. I feel most alive when I’m learning from others—especially those with different cultures, stories, and ways of seeing the world.

What really moves me is the chance to feel useful and to share moments that matter, whether it’s through a simple conversation, a shared meal, or working together on a project. I believe that being open, listening deeply, and staying humble are the keys to growing as a person—and having some fun along the way!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m someone who adapts easily—I’ve worked in very different environments and I’m not afraid to step out of my comfort zone.

In Italy, I worked for several years supporting refugees and survivors of trafficking. It was intense, meaningful work that taught me how to listen, stay grounded, and connect with people from all backgrounds. I also worked as a waitress in a pizzeria—fast-paced, lots of teamwork, and a good school of patience and flexibility!

More recently, in Australia, I worked on a farm doing packing. Honestly? Not my favorite job—but it definitely taught me resilience, and I’m glad I gave it a shot. I think every experience has something to teach you.

What I enjoy the most is being useful, working with people, and learning something new along the way.

Was noch ...

I love traveling and exploring new places—especially if there’s good food involved! When I was living in Milan, I used to go to concerts and cultural events all the time, it’s something that really makes me feel alive.

I’m always up for trying local dishes, watching a good TV series, or going for a sunset walk. And when I get the chance, I love snorkeling—nothing fancy, just me, the water, and a bit of wonder.
