Holi a todis! Somos Gian Fadri y Sara, dos trabajadores sociales de 27 años de los Alpes suizos. En junio de 2024, comenzamos nuestro viaje por la Carretera Panamericana. Hasta ahora, hemos viajado desde Alaska hasta Centroamérica, y nuestro objetivo es llegar a Argentina, en Sudamérica.

Además de viajar, queremos vivir experiencias importantes. Hemos estado viajando por un tiempo y cuidando animales en diferentes lugares con TrustedHousesitters, donde solo tenemos reseñas de 5 estrellas (ver foto).

Ahora, también queremos ayudar en proyectos y conocer nuevas personas. Por eso, nos unimos a Workaway. Esta plataforma nos permite viajar, ayudar en proyectos y aprender cosas nuevas.

Cada proyecto nos da la oportunidad de conocer mejor los lugares y las personas, desde trabajos en el campo hasta proyectos sociales. Estamos muy emocionados por lo que viene en el viaje y por las experiencias que viviremos.

Hello everyone! We are Gian Fadri and Sara, two 27-year-old social workers from the beautiful Swiss Alps. In June 2024, we began our journey along the legendary Pan-American Highway. So far, we've traveled from the frosty landscapes of Alaska to Central America, and our journey continues with the goal of reaching Argentina in South America.

Along with our passion for travel, we've decided to enrich our journey with meaningful experiences. We've been on the road for quite some time now, regularly doing housesits through TrustedHousesitters – a wonderful way to care for animals while staying in different places. There, we have only 5-star reviews (see photo).

However, we wanted to experience even more and connect with new projects, which is why we've now joined Workaway. This platform allows us not only to travel but also to actively engage in various projects, meet new people and cultures, and gain practical experiences along the way.

Each new project offers us the opportunity to immerse ourselves even more deeply in the different regions and their communities, from agricultural work to social initiatives. We are excited about the challenges and opportunities still ahead of us and look forward to continuing our journey with meaningful experiences.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Sara es agente de viajes y es muy buena organizando. Puede hacer tareas administrativas, es creativa y trabaja de forma eficiente. Durante sus estudios, trabajó con personas con adicciones a las drogas, participó en un proyecto de circo en Costa Rica con niños y adolescentes, y después de graduarse, trabajó con adolescentes en un hogar.

Gian Fadri tiene muchos años de experiencia como trabajador social con personas con adicciones a las drogas. Ha dado cursos de escalada para jóvenes y ahora está aprendiendo a programar. También ha trabajado en el campo y en cocinas.

Sara is a travel agent and is very good at organizing. She can handle administrative tasks, is creative, and works efficiently. During her studies, she worked with drug-addicted individuals, participated in a circus project in Costa Rica with children and teenagers, and after graduating, she worked with teenagers in a residential home.

Gian Fadri has many years of experience as a social worker with drug-addicted individuals. He has led climbing courses for young people and is currently learning to program. He has also worked in the fields and in kitchens.
