Hi my name is George... I'm a 28 y/o kiwi (Someone from New Zealand) 🇳🇿travelling across Europe 🇪🇺 and maybe just maybe the world🌎

On a mission to see more than just my small far away country I decided to sell all my posessions, then bought a one way ticket 🎟 ✈️ and then stuffed my gym bag with a few clothes 🥋, my diary and a ukelele that was going to keep me company when I needed it the most.

New Zealand or Aorearoa (in Maori) is a magnificent country 🏞, however it is very isolated and you almost can't help wonder about the rest of the world and what awaits outside of it.

Although I have travelled to a couple other countries in the Southern Hemisphere, I have never done a solo trip like this before.
It surprisingly wasnt daunting to leave the nest but living this life definitely has it's challenges but it is all well worth it.. well for me at least😃

Since I left home, I have done alot!
From backpacking across 12 different countries in Europe while doing
my fair share of Hostels and workaways, I can honestly say this is the best time of my life🤘

I have now reached a point where I really want to dive deeper into my journey by trying out new experiences rather than just seeing sights, hence why workaway is such a great platform for that.

At home I felt my best when I was involved in the outdoors and with my sports🏈.
Living close to many beaches 🏖, I found myself there almost everyday, so it is pretty much in my DNA to move and do anything physical.
I love traditional food 🥘 (something I have recently fallen in love with), although I am not someone who has done a lot of cooking I am willing to learn and help out in this department as much as I can.

In New Zealand, I did a variety of jobs from sports coaching , Gardening 🪴, basic renovation labour, events, baby sitting, sales and some retail.
Though in saying that there are things that I really would like to accomplish in my life that are unrelated to these such as learning to ocean sail ⛵️ (potentially to different countries), get back into competitive sports ⚽️ (don't know which yet!), learn at least a couple languages fluently, start another business and rebuild an old car 🚗 to name a few.

I have a massive family of 7 other siblings. So 8 kids in Total...3 girls and 5 boys.
I helped raise the youngest Violet as she was born when I was 13. So when it comes to kids I can be very playful and have a very good grasp of their nature.

In my spare time I write lyrics 🎶and sometimes poems, sing and play to my ukelele 🪕 (as best as I can), or take myself through a workout of sorts , whether that be running 🏃‍♂️ yoga 🧘‍♀️ bodyweight training or just some light streching 🙆‍♂️!

As I have mentioned I am a keen languge learner, so if there is an opportunity to learn a languge then the better😃

If I am replying to your posting it means that it really interests me as I am not going for any old workaway, the vibe and feeling must be there!

Just a side note, I am a non smoker and I am challenging myself to go sober off all alcohol for a year! Im 3 months in going strong so unfortunately I wont be able to join in completely with some celebrations but that doesn't stop me from going to every event and activity that has alcohol.
This includes clubbing...matter of fact I dance with so much energy sometimes the security thinks I am drunk 😂

I have skills in physical work such as gardening and lifting and a basic knowledge of hands on tasks.
I am good with and worked with Children before and coming from a big family with a large age gap I can communicate well with all ages.
I am a hard worker.
